Illyrische
Illyrische is the German adjective used for things related to Illyria, an ancient region along the western Balkan coast. In scholarly contexts, it covers the geography, ethnography, and material culture of the Illyrian peoples. The term encompasses various tribes identified by classical authors, such as the Taulantii, Dardani, Liburnians, Delmatae, and Ardiaei, among others. Illyria lay roughly in the area of today's Albania, western North Macedonia, parts of Montenegro, Croatia, and coastal Serbia.
