Illatiivile

Illatiivile is a linguistic term used to refer to the illative form in Estonian grammar, the grammatical case that marks direction toward or into a location. It is part of the system of locative cases that expresses movement or transfer of reference toward a place, as opposed to the inessive (inside) or elative (out of) cases.

Morphology and formation of illatiivile

In standard Estonian, illative forms are typically built by adding a suffix to the stem.
