IOGP

IOGP, or the International Association of Oil and Gas Producers, is a global industry association that represents the interests of oil and gas producers worldwide. It brings together major international producers along with national oil companies and industry partners to share knowledge and advance safety, performance, and sustainability in the sector.

Activities include development of guidelines, recommendations, and best practices on process safety, well integrity, offshore operations, pipeline safety, and environmental protection. It also coordinates data collection and benchmarking on safety and environmental performance to help members measure progress and compare practices.

IOGP performs advocacy and policy support by engaging with governments, regulators, and international bodies to promote sound regulatory frameworks and resilience in energy supplies.

Governance is provided by a board consisting of member company representatives, supported by a secretariat and a network of technical committees and working groups. Membership is open to producers and industry associations that share the organization's objectives.

Publications and guidance: Through its technical papers and guidance notes, IOGP disseminates knowledge to operators and regulators, aiming to raise global safety and efficiency standards.
