IL1RL2
IL1RL2, also known as IL-36γ, is a protein encoded by the IL1RL2 gene. It is a member of the interleukin-1 (IL-1) superfamily of cytokines, a group of signaling molecules that play crucial roles in the immune system. IL1RL2 is a secreted protein that functions as a ligand, binding to specific receptors on other cells to transmit signals.
The primary receptor for IL1RL2 is IL36R, also known as IL-1RRP. Upon binding to IL36R, IL1RL2 initiates
IL1RL2 is expressed in a variety of tissues, with notable presence in epithelial cells, keratinocytes, and immune
