IL12RB2

IL12RB2, also known as Interleukin-12 Receptor Beta 2, is a protein that plays a crucial role in the immune system's response to infections. It is a member of the interleukin-12 receptor family, which includes IL12RB1 and IL12RB2. IL12RB2 is encoded by the IL12RB2 gene on chromosome 19 in humans.

IL12RB2 functions as a signaling receptor for interleukin-12 (IL-12), a cytokine that is produced by antigen-presenting cells and plays a key role in the activation of T cells.
