IACBE

The International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education, or IACBE, is a specialized accrediting body for business programs in higher education. It focuses on accreditation for business schools and departments that emphasize a student-centered approach to learning and outcome-based education. IACBE was founded in 1997 and is headquartered in Lenexa, Kansas.

The IACBE's accreditation process evaluates the quality of business programs based on a set of nine academic and professional standards. These standards address aspects such as mission and assurance of learning, student learning and academic and professional achievement, faculty qualifications and engagement, and financial viability. A key component of IACBE accreditation is the demonstration of student learning outcomes, ensuring that graduates possess the knowledge and skills necessary for success in their chosen fields.

The organization serves a global network of business programs, including those at both public and private institutions. Accreditation by the IACBE signifies that a business program has met rigorous quality standards and is committed to continuous improvement. The IACBE is a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
