Hüftwinkel
Hüftwinkel is a term used in orthopedics and biomechanics to describe the angle formed by certain anatomical landmarks of the hip joint. It is commonly assessed using radiographic imaging, such as X-rays. The most frequently measured hip angle is the acetabular angle, also known as the center-edge angle (CEA) or the Sharp angle. This angle is formed by a line drawn horizontally through the pelvis and a line drawn from the center of the femoral head to the superolateral rim of the acetabulum. A normal acetabular angle is generally considered to be between 20 and 40 degrees, though slight variations can exist.
Deviations from the normal range can indicate hip joint abnormalities. A decreased acetabular angle can suggest
Another angle sometimes discussed in relation to the hip is the neck-shaft angle of the femur. This
