HybridCD
HybridCD was a proprietary optical disc format developed by Philips and Sony, intended as a successor to the CD. It was designed to combine the benefits of Compact Disc Digital Audio (CD-DA) and CD-ROM data storage on a single disc. The primary goal was to allow a disc to hold both audio tracks and computer-readable data, enabling enhanced multimedia content for music albums, such as liner notes, lyrics, music videos, or even interactive applications.
