Hutterites
Hutterites are a rural Anabaptist Christian group that originated in Moravia in the 16th century and are named after Jakob Hutter, who led the early community. They practice adult baptism, nonviolence, and a communal way of life in which property and resources are held in common within a colony. Following a strict interpretation of Christian discipleship, Hutterites seek to live apart from much of secular society, while maintaining market and social connections for work and trade.
