Humbabas
Humbabas, also known as Humbaba, is a monstrous figure from ancient Mesopotamian mythology. He is most famously described in the Epic of Gilgamesh, a foundational work of literature. In the epic, Humbaba is depicted as the guardian of the Cedar Forest, a sacred and bountiful place that the hero Gilgamesh and his companion Enkidu seek to conquer.
The physical description of Humbaba varies, but he is consistently portrayed as a fearsome and colossal being.
