Hongbin

Hongbin, born Lee Hong-bin, is a South Korean singer and actor. He is best known as a member of the boy band VIXX, which debuted under Jellyfish Entertainment in 2012. Within the group, Hongbin's positions include vocalist and rapper.

Born on September 29, 1993, in Seoul, South Korea, Hongbin initially pursued acting before joining the music industry. He was scouted by Jellyfish Entertainment and underwent training before his debut with VIXX. The group quickly gained popularity with their unique concepts and hit songs such as "Super Hero," "Voodoo Doll," and "Chained Up."

Beyond his group activities, Hongbin has also ventured into acting. He has appeared in several television dramas, including "The Heirs" (2013), "What's Up With That Family?" (2015), and "The Sound of Your Heart Reboot" (2018). He also hosted music programs, showcasing his versatile talents.

In 2019, Hongbin faced controversy regarding comments made on a live broadcast. Following this, he announced his departure from VIXX in August 2020 to focus on his personal life. While no longer actively promoting with VIXX, his contributions to the group and his individual acting endeavors remain a part of his career.
