Hiperfrekvenciás

Hiperfrekvenciás, also known as ultra-high frequency (UHF), refers to a range of radio frequencies within the electromagnetic spectrum. It typically spans from 300 megahertz (MHz) to 3 gigahertz (GHz). This band is characterized by relatively short wavelengths, ranging from one meter down to ten centimeters.

These frequencies are widely used for various communication purposes due to their ability to carry significant amounts of data and their propagation characteristics. Common applications include television broadcasting, mobile phone communication (especially older generations and certain bands), Wi-Fi networks, radar systems, and satellite communication. UHF signals can penetrate buildings to some extent and are less affected by atmospheric conditions than higher frequencies.

The term "hiperfrekvenciás" is a direct translation of "ultra-high frequency" into Hungarian. In English, UHF is the more commonly used term when discussing these specific frequencies. The ability to utilize these frequencies effectively relies on the design of antennas and electronic components that can operate efficiently at these higher oscillation rates.
