Himoyalaydi

Himoyalaydi is a present-tense, third-person singular form of an Uzbek verb meaning “to protect” or “to defend.” It derives from the root related to protection (himoya) and is used to describe an action carried out by he, she, or an identified third party. In standard Uzbek spelling, the related full construction is often written as himoya qiladi, but the single-word form himoyalaydi also appears in some texts and dialects as a contracted or alternative form.
