Hietaniemen

Hietaniemen, literally "sandy beach" in Finnish, is a toponym most commonly associated with Helsinki, Finland. The name is used for several places along the southern shoreline of the city.

Hietaniemi Cemetery (Hietaniemen hautausmaa) is one of Helsinki's oldest and most prominent cemeteries, located near the Hietaniemi district along the Gulf of Finland.
