Hidrosis
Hidrosis refers to the process of sweating. It is a physiological function primarily regulated by the sympathetic nervous system. The eccrine sweat glands are the most numerous type of sweat gland and are found throughout the body, responsible for producing a watery, odorless sweat. Apocrine sweat glands, on the other hand, are found in specific areas like the armpits and groin and produce a thicker, milky fluid that can be broken down by bacteria, leading to body odor.
