Hemachandra
Hemachandra (c. 1089–c. 1172) was a prominent Indian scholar, mathematician, astronomer, and grammarian who lived during the medieval period. Born in Gujarat, he was a polymath whose works spanned multiple disciplines, making significant contributions to Sanskrit literature and science. His full name was Hemachandra Suri, and he was associated with the Solanki dynasty, which ruled the region during his time.
