When an integer 'a' is divided by a positive integer 'n', the result can be expressed as a = qn + r, where 'q' is the quotient and 'r' is the remainder. The remainder 'r' is the result of the heltallsmodulus operation, and it always satisfies the condition 0 <= r < n.

For example, 10 heltallsmodulus 3 results in 1 because 10 divided by 3 is 3 with a remainder of 1 (10 = 3*3 + 1). Similarly, 7 heltallsmodulus 4 is 3, as 7 divided by 4 is 1 with a remainder of 3 (7 = 1*4 + 3). If the dividend is a multiple of the divisor, the remainder is 0.
