A hatásmechanizmus, often translated as mechanism of action, refers to the specific biochemical or physiological process through which a drug, toxin, or other agent produces its effect. It allows scientists to predict how a substance will behave in the body, to design more effective and safer treatments, and to develop antidotes or countermeasures for harmful agents.
