Haríamos

Haríamos is the first-person plural form of hacer in the conditional simple mood in Spanish. It translates to “we would do” or “we would make” in English and is used to express actions that are hypothetical, contingent, or conditional, as well as in polite offers or proposals.

Morphology and formation: The verb hacer has an irregular stem in the conditional and future tenses. In the conditional, the stem har- is combined with the endings -ía, -ías, -ía, -íamos, -íais, -ían. Therefore, haríamos corresponds to the first-person plural form. Examples include: “Haríamos un viaje si tuviéramos dinero,” meaning we would take a trip if we had money; “¿Qué haríamos si llegara la autoridad?”; or “Haríamos todo lo posible por ayudar.” It is distinct from the future tense haremos (we will do) and from the imperfect indicative hacíamos (we were doing/used to do), reflecting a hypothetical or conditional mood rather than a definite time frame.
