They are responsible for transferring power from the rider's legs to the bicycle's wheels. A hajtókarkészlet consists of several key parts: the crank arms, which are the levers that attach to the pedals and the bottom bracket spindle; the chainrings, which are the toothed gears that engage with the bicycle chain; and the bottom bracket, which is the bearing system that allows the crankset to rotate smoothly within the bicycle frame.
