Haarkreislauf
Haarkreislauf, also known as the hair cycle, is the natural process by which hair grows, rests, and sheds. This cycle is divided into three main phases: anagen, catagen, and telogen. Anagen is the active growth phase, which can last anywhere from two to seven years, depending on the individual and the specific hair follicle. During this phase, the hair follicle is nourished by the dermal papilla, a small structure that produces the keratin that forms the hair shaft. The catagen phase is a transitional period that lasts about two to three weeks. During this phase, the dermal papilla shrinks, and the hair follicle begins to prepare for the resting phase. The telogen phase is the resting phase, which can last anywhere from one to three months. During this phase, the hair follicle is not producing new hair, and the hair shaft is pushed out of the skin by the growing hair below it. After the telogen phase, the hair falls out, and the cycle begins again.
The length of the hair cycle can vary depending on several factors, including genetics, age, and overall
