HRRarvojen
HRRarvojen is a term used in exercise physiology to denote the reservoir of heart rate reserve values observed in a population or study. The heart rate reserve (HRR) is defined as the difference between an individual's estimated or measured maximal heart rate (HRmax) and their resting heart rate (HRrest). HRR values are used to tailor aerobic exercise intensity because expressing intensity as a fraction of HRR accounts for individual differences in resting and maximal rates. Target heart rate can be calculated as HRrest + (percentage of HRR) × (HRmax − HRrest). Common zones include 50-70% for moderate intensity and 70-85% for vigorous intensity. In research and practice, HRR arvojen describe the distribution of these calculated targets across a group and are used to evaluate training load, prescribe exercise, or compare fitness levels.
Measurement and interpretation of HRR values rely on accurate assessment of HRmax and HRrest. HRmax is obtained
Limitations include that certain medications (for example, beta-blockers) blunt HRmax and may reduce the reliability of
