Gyeongsangdo
Gyeongsangdo, often referred to as Gyeongsang Province, was one of the historical eight provinces of Korea during the Joseon Dynasty. It was located in the southeastern part of the Korean Peninsula. The province was established in 1413 during the reign of King Taejong. Its territory encompassed a significant portion of what is now modern-day South Korea. The administrative center of Gyeongsangdo was Daegu.
Historically, Gyeongsangdo was a crucial region for agriculture and trade, particularly known for its rice production.
