Guahiban

Guahiban is an indigenous ethnic group primarily residing in the northern regions of Colombia, particularly within the Atlántico and Magdalena departments. They are part of the larger cultural and linguistic tapestry of the Caribbean coastal communities, with a rich heritage influenced by both indigenous traditions and contact with other regional groups through history.

The Guahiban people traditionally practiced subsistence agriculture, cultivating crops such as cassava, plantains, and beans, and engaged in fishing along the Atlantic coast and rivers.
