Groenlandia
Groenlandia is the Danish name for Greenland, the world's largest island. It is an autonomous territory within the Kingdom of Denmark, located between the Arctic and Atlantic Oceans, east of the Canadian Arctic Archipelago. The island's interior is dominated by a massive ice sheet, which covers about 80% of its surface. The ice-free coastal areas, particularly in the southwest, are where the majority of the population resides. The capital and largest city is Nuuk.
The indigenous population of Greenland are the Inuit, who have inhabited the island for thousands of years.
