Grateinsatz

Grateinsatz is a removable metal insert placed within a combustion grate or chamber to support solid fuels and regulate burning. It creates a stable fuel bed, promotes uniform air distribution, and facilitates removal of ash and clinker. By shaping the airflow and providing a bed for burning material, it can affect combustion efficiency and heat transfer in a device.
