Gorgan

Gorgan is the capital of Golestan Province in northeastern Iran. Located along the lower Gorgan River and not far from the Caspian Sea, it serves as the province’s administrative center and commercial hub. The city sits at a historical crossroads between the Iranian plateau and the Caspian littoral, supporting government, education, trade, and services for the region.
