Goodra

Goodra is a Dragon-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VI. It is the final form of the Goomy evolutionary line, evolving from Sliggoo. Goodra is known for its soft, slime-covered body and gentle demeanor, which belies its dragon heritage.

Biology and habitat: Goodra secretes a viscous slime that helps regulate moisture and temperature in wet environments. In the wild it is often found near rivers, swamps, and humid forests. The slime is said to be soothing to touch, and the Pokémon is described as friendly and protective toward allies.

Evolution and typing: Goodra evolves from Sliggoo when leveled up. It is a pure Dragon-type Pokémon. The Goomy line is noted for its strong Special Attack and bulk, making Goodra a common bulky special attacker in battles. Abilities: Gooey is its standard ability; Sap Sipper is available as a hidden ability in some generations.

In games and media: Goodra is native to the Kalos region (appearing in Pokémon X and Y) and has since appeared in other titles via transfer. Its National Dex number is 706. The lore emphasizes its rain-loving, swamp-dwelling nature; it does not have a Mega Evolution.
