Goliad
Goliad is a city in and the county seat of Goliad County, Texas, United States. It is located in the southern part of the state in the Gulf Coast region and sits along the San Antonio River. The city preserves several 18th-century sites that reflect its Spanish colonial and frontier history, including Presidio La Bahía and Mission Espíritu Santo de Zúiga, which are part of Goliad State Park. These landmarks illustrate the mission system and military defense in early Texas.
