Goesan

Goesan is a county in North Chungcheong Province, South Korea. It is located in the central part of the province, bordered by the cities of Chungju to the north, Boeun to the south, and the counties of Jecheon to the east and Okcheon to the west. Goesan is a predominantly rural area, with agriculture being a significant part of its economy. The county is known for its picturesque natural scenery, including mountains and valleys.

The county's history stretches back to the Three Kingdoms period. During the Joseon Dynasty, it was part of Chungju-bu.
