Boeun

Boeun is a county located in the central part of South Korea. It is situated in the north-central part of Chungcheongbuk-do province and covers a total area of approximately 90.8 square kilometers. As of 2020, the county has a population of around 59,000 people.

Boeun County seat is the city of Boeun. Boeun has a history dating back to ancient times, and it is believed that the county was a major trading hub along the Han River during the Goguryeo period.
