Glükózeltérések
Glükózeltérések refers to deviations from normal blood glucose levels. These conditions encompass a spectrum, with the most common being hyperglycemia (high blood glucose) and hypoglycemia (low blood glucose). Hyperglycemia is most often associated with diabetes mellitus, a chronic metabolic disorder characterized by impaired insulin production or function, leading to elevated blood sugar. Type 1 diabetes results from the autoimmune destruction of insulin-producing beta cells, while type 2 diabetes involves insulin resistance and a relative deficiency in insulin secretion. Gestational diabetes occurs during pregnancy and typically resolves after childbirth. Other causes of hyperglycemia can include certain medications, pancreatitis, and endocrine disorders.
Hypoglycemia, conversely, signifies dangerously low blood glucose levels. It can be caused by an excess of insulin
