Globocnik
Globocnik refers to a surname, most notably associated with Odilo Globocnik. Odilo Globocnik was an Austrian SS-General and commander of the Lublin district of the General Government in occupied Poland during World War II. He was born in Trieste, then part of Austria-Hungary, in 1904. Globocnik joined the Nazi Party and the SS in the 1930s. He rose through the ranks and was appointed SS and Police Leader of the Lublin district in 1941.
