Geçilebilmesi

Geçilebilmesi is a Turkish noun that denotes the possibility or feasibility of being passed or traversed. It is formed from the verb geçmek (to pass, to cross) with the potential suffix -ebil-, in its passive form gele-? and the noun-making suffix -mesi. In effect, geçilebilmesi means “the ability to be passed” or “the passability.”

Morphologically, geçilebilmesi consists of the root geç-, the passive potential segment ilebil-, and the nominalizer -mesi. The base verb is geçilebilmek (to be able to be passed).
