Gestoppte
Gestoppte is a German attributive adjective form derived from the past participle gestoppt of the verb stoppen. It describes something that has been halted, paused, or prevented. As an adjective it agrees with the gender, number and case of the noun it modifies, and it can be used with or without a determiner. For feminine singular nouns in the nominative or accusative case, as in die gestoppte Uhr, the form gestoppte is used. In plural nominative or accusative with no article, as in gestoppte Züge, the same orthographic form is used. With definite articles or other determiners the endings change (die gestoppten Züge, einem gestoppten Fahrzeug, etc.).
