Genba
Genba (現場) is a Japanese term meaning "the real place" or "the scene of events." The characters 現 and 場 convey "present" and "place." In everyday use, genba denotes the physical location where work is performed or where events occur, such as a factory floor, construction site, or crime scene. In business and management, the concept is extended to emphasize direct observation of the work site.
