Gelbfarbe
Gelbfarbe, also known as yellow color, is one of the three primary colors in subtractive color mixing, alongside cyan and magenta. In additive color mixing, used for light, yellow is produced by combining red and green light. It is perceived by the human eye when light with a wavelength between approximately 570 and 590 nanometers stimulates the cone cells in the retina.
Historically, yellow pigments were derived from natural sources such as ochre, saffron, and certain plant dyes.
The psychological and cultural associations with yellow are diverse. It is often linked to happiness, warmth,
