Nationally, the German Gefährdstoffverordnung (GefStV) and the Technical Rules for Hazardous Substances (TRGS) translate these principles into practical requirements, including requirements for risk assessments and control measures. Safety data sheets (SDS) are required to convey information about hazards, handling, exposure controls, and first aid.
