Gasztelu
Gasztelu is a traditional Hungarian dish, primarily a type of stuffed cabbage or stuffed pepper. While the name can broadly refer to various stuffed vegetable preparations, it is most commonly associated with dishes where the filling is encased in a cabbage leaf or pepper. The core ingredients typically include ground meat, such as pork or beef, mixed with rice, onions, and seasonings like paprika and marjoram. These ingredients are combined to form a flavorful filling that is then carefully wrapped or stuffed into blanched cabbage leaves or hollowed-out peppers.
The stuffed vegetables are then simmered slowly in a savory sauce, often tomato-based or a sour cream
