Gaighat
Gaighat is a municipality in the Udayapur District of the Sagarmatha Zone in Nepal. Located in the Terai region of the country, it is situated at an elevation of approximately 200 meters above sea level. The municipality was established in 2014 by merging the former Village Development Committees of Katunjha, Hachchaur, Joule, Baijanathpur, Gaighat, and Jalpapur. Gaighat serves as the administrative headquarters of the Udayapur District.
