Gaasvolframi
Gaasvolframi, also known as tungsten gas or gaseous tungsten, refers to tungsten in its vaporized state. Tungsten is a chemical element with the symbol W and atomic number 74. It is a rare and dense metal, known for its extremely high melting point, which is the highest of all elemental metals. At standard atmospheric pressure, tungsten transitions directly from solid to gas at temperatures above approximately 5555 °C (9995 °F), a process called sublimation.
The study and application of gaasvolframi are primarily confined to highly specialized scientific and industrial environments.
