GPSvastuvõtjat
GPSvastuvõtja, also known as a GPS receiver, is an electronic device that receives and processes signals from the Global Positioning System (GPS) constellation of satellites. The primary function of a GPS vastuvõtja is to determine the user's precise geographical location, altitude, and velocity. It achieves this by measuring the time it takes for signals from at least four different GPS satellites to reach the receiver. Each satellite transmits a unique code and its precise orbital data. By comparing the time of transmission with the time of reception, the receiver can calculate the distance to each satellite. With distances to multiple satellites, the receiver can triangulate its position on Earth.
Modern GPS vastuvõtjad are found in a wide variety of applications. They are integral components of smartphones,
