G7G8

G7G8 is not an official international organization or forum. There is no formal body, charter, or membership known as G7G8.

Background: The G7 is a coalition of seven major advanced economies: Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The G8 added Russia in 1997 to broaden the grouping, but Russia was suspended in 2014; since then the forum has operated as the G7.
