G1Ssiirtymää
G1Ssiirtymää is a term used to describe the transition or shift associated with the G1 phase of the cell cycle. The G1 phase, or gap 1 phase, is the first growth phase of the cell cycle, occurring between the end of mitosis and the beginning of DNA synthesis. During G1, the cell grows, synthesizes proteins, and accumulates the necessary components for DNA replication. The G1Ssiirtymää marks the point in the cell cycle where the cell commits to progressing into the S phase, the period of DNA replication.
This critical transition is tightly regulated by a complex network of proteins, including cyclins and cyclin-dependent
