Funkciókifejezésként is a Hungarian term that translates to "as a function expression" in English. It refers to a way of defining functions in programming languages where the function is created as part of an expression. This contrasts with a traditional function declaration, which stands alone as a statement.

In many programming languages, particularly JavaScript, a function expression assigns an anonymous or named function to a variable. For example, in JavaScript, you might see `const greet = function() { console.log("Hello"); };`. Here, `function() { console.log("Hello"); }` is the function expression, and it is being assigned to the variable `greet`.

This approach allows functions to be treated as first-class citizens, meaning they can be passed as arguments to other functions, returned from functions, and assigned to variables. Function expressions are often used for creating immediately invoked function expressions (IIFEs), callbacks, and methods within objects. The key characteristic is that the function definition is embedded within a larger expression. Unlike function declarations, function expressions are not hoisted entirely, meaning they cannot be called before their definition in the code.
