Frequenzmultiplikation
Frequenzmultiplikation is a process in electronics and signal processing where the frequency of an input signal is increased to a multiple of its original frequency. This is achieved using nonlinear circuit elements or specialized multipliers. The output signal contains components at frequencies that are integer multiples of the input frequency, commonly referred to as the fundamental frequency. The most prominent component is at the desired harmonic frequency, but other harmonics may also be present.
Common methods for frequency multiplication include using diodes, transistors, or integrated circuits designed for this purpose.
Frequency multipliers find applications in various fields. They are essential in radio transmitters to generate carrier
