Frekvenssivastefunktion, often translated as frequency response function, is a concept used in signal processing and system analysis to describe how a system responds to different frequencies. It quantifies the gain and phase shift that a system introduces to sinusoidal inputs at various frequencies. Essentially, it tells us how much a system amplifies or attenuates a signal at a specific frequency, and how much it delays or advances the signal's phase at that frequency.
