Forodwaith
Forodwaith is a region in the north of Middle-earth in J.R.R. Tolkien's legendarium. It is a cold and desolate land, primarily situated north of the Blue Mountains and west of the Grey Mountains. The name "Forodwaith" itself is Sindarin, meaning "North-kingdom" or "Northern Waste." This region is sparsely populated by Men, and its history is largely intertwined with the ancient conflicts of Middle-earth.
