Forbrydelsen, known in English as The Killing, is a Danish crime drama television series created by Søren Sveistrup. It aired on the Danish broadcaster DR from 2007 to 2012 and comprises three seasons. The show follows detective Sarah Lund as she investigates murder cases that unfold within a larger web of political and social intrigue, blending procedural work with character-driven storytelling.
