Fogtörések

Fogtörések, also known as "fogging" or "frosting," are atmospheric phenomena characterized by the sudden appearance of fog or frost on surfaces. This occurs when the temperature of a surface drops below the dew point of the surrounding air, causing water vapor in the air to condense into liquid water or ice on the surface. Fogtörések can happen on various surfaces, including windows, car windscreens, and even plants.

The process begins when the air temperature cools to the dew point, the temperature at which air becomes saturated with water vapor. As the temperature continues to drop, the excess water vapor condenses onto nearby surfaces, forming a thin layer of liquid water or ice.
